It started with Stone Soup bowls…I love to make pinch pots so 20 years ago I started making stone soup bowls with the whole school. This evolved into a weekly clay program. Each week we work with one group on a clay project. The students learn basic clay skills and create wonderful ceramic pieces to take home. Annually, I recruit an Artist-in-Residence from the Morean Center For Clay to help, providing them with experience working with children as well as a small stipend.
